A Celebration of Art and Life 2024 - 2025
I’m thrilled to have been selected to exhibit at Penn Medicine Perelman in A Celebration of Art and Life 2024 - 2025. My piece, A Sunset Garden, will be on display and for sale in this juried exhibition.
Anyone visiting the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine at 3400 Civic Center Blvd, Philadelphia, PA can view the piece. I feel blessed to have the positive energy I impart in my work in this medical setting where it can bring joy to those undergoing treatment.
Small Worlds Exhibition
Small Worlds is a group exhibition at The Plastic Club focused on smaller works taking advantage of scale in a creative and meaningful way. I am excited to have two pieces nestled amongst other talented local artists. The juror for this show is Kate Van Vliet.
I hope you’ll join me at the opening reception Sunday, December 1st from 2pm - 5pm. If you can’t make it out the show will remain up through December 26th for your viewing pleasure during Plastic Club open gallery hours.
The Plastic Club's Annual New Member Show
I am proud to be a member of The Plastic Club, a vibrant artistic community of talented artists here in Philadelphia. Having joined later in 2024, I will be participating in the Annual New Member Show this January 2025. I’ll have three pieces featured in this group exhibition, Blue Skies Ahead, Blossoming Love & Enchanting Sunrise.
I hope you will come see me at the Artists Reception on Sunday, January 5th from 2 to 5pm. I’ll be there pleased to chat with you and share more about my artistic process.
If you are unable to make it to the reception, the show will run through January 23rd and you can attend for free at anytime during open Plastic Club gallery hours.

I couldn’t be more excited to share that one of my sons was invited to show a piece at this juried exhibition at The Philadelphia Sketch Club.

SWITCH: Small Works Cash and Carry
Come out to this fun, salon-style exhibition at The Center for Emerging Visual Artists Side Gallery. There will be over 50 Artists featured working in clay, fiber, print, paint and more. I’m excited to be a chosen and featured artist.
This fun, salon-style exhibition and corresponding events will help CFEVA raise needed funds to continue its mission, building equitable artistic practices for emerging artists throughout Greater Philadelphia.

2nd Annual Works Under $250 Exhibition
Come out and grab some great deals on original artwork for the holiday season. The 2nd Annual Works Under $250 Exhibition takes place at the Philadelphia Sketch Club. You’ll find two of my pieces professionally framed on velour mats in matching frames. They have a great hip and trendy feel to them so I hope you’ll go check them out. They are priced to sell.
In addition to regular sketch club exhibition hours (Wednesday - Friday from 11am - 5pm), there is a reception Sunday, November 10th from 1 - 3pm. I hope you’ll come out and say hi. I’d love to share more with you about my artistic practice and this is a great chance for us to do that if you like.

Postcard Art Exhibit & Benefit
Postcard art exhibit 2024 is about artists helping artists. It benefits the Millhouse Foundation a non-profit a 501(c)(3) tax exempt nonprofit corporation created to promote female artists and entrepreneurs through meaningful connections, social and educational activities, and access to shared resources to create social, creative, and economic impact in the local community.
Opening Exhibition & Sale will be held from September 21st through October 10th, 2024. With an opening gala and pre-sale September 21st from 1 - 2pm CDT. If you are interested in attending, you can rsvp and obtain tickets here.
The grand opening to the general public will be September 21st from 2-4pm CDT.

Fall Annual Juried Exhibition
See a fabulous group exhibition juried by Kit Donnelly at the Moorestown Gallery of The Perkins Center for the Arts. My piece, Crossroads, was chosen for the show.
The exhibition runs from September 18th through October 25th and can be seen during the Perkins Center open gallery exhibition hours which you will find here.

The Penn Memory Center invites you to be part of something special at an upcoming event, “A Celebration of Hope.” An annual auction, the evening honors the incredible resilience of the families they serve, celebrates the groundbreaking work of their clinicians and researchers, and raises crucial funds for ongoing and future projects.
Leave Your Mark: A Collaborative Expression of Hope
As an empathic artist, I connect deeply with others and create a safe space for authentically expressing oneself. At A Celebration of Hope 2024, I will facilitate a group collaborative painting to capture the essence of the shared hope felt in the room. Each individual will have the opportunity to participate by placing a mark on a canvas I've prepared in advance. After the event, I will complete the canvas we've co-created as an enduring representation of the evening that will be displayed at The Penn Memory Center.

Absolutely Abstract 2024 Exhibition
I’m delighted to have been invited to exhibit at Absolutely Abstract 2024 at the Philadelphia Sketch Club.
This juried exhibition opens July 7 and runs through July 28, 2024 with an opening reception on Sunday, July 14th from 1 - 3pm.
This show was juried by Michael Gallagher. You will find my piece, Manic Dreamer, showing and for sale. For a preview of the show, you can get a sneak-peak of the online exhibition here.
Bridgette Mayer 2024 Benefit Exhibition
The exhibition is now available online. View it here. You’ll find my panel amongst the 10’’ x 10’’ gessobords.
This year markes the 9th Benefit Exhibition for the Bridgette Mayer Gallery. This exhibition is a special opportunity to give back to nonprofits in the Philadelphia community through art. I was selected to participate by curator Bridgette Mayer.
This year, the benefit supports nonprofit partners Help Us Adopt and the Dina Wind Art Foundation.
The opening reception will be held Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 4:30pm - 7:30pm. Each participating artist has been invited to create one 10’’ x 10’’ x 1.5’’ cradled panel to be included in the exhibition. Each piece sold donates 30% of the proceeds to the participating non-profits.
I’m already in progress of creating my piece for this exhibition. I’ll be releasing previews as I go on Instagram.
Perkins Center Members & Faculty Exhibition
Join me and other local artists on Saturday, May 18th from 5-8 pm at Perkins Center for the Arts in Moorestown for the opening reception featuring “Members and Faculty Exhibition” including works by the talented Perkins members and faculty. My piece, Enchanting Sunrise, will be included in this exhibition.
If you can’t make the opening, the show runs from May 6th through June 28th and can be viewed during any gallery hours which you will find listed below.

110th Member's Medal Show
Come out to the 110th Member’s Medal Show at The Plastic Club in Philadelphia, PA. You’ll see my piece nestled amongst many other talented local artists. It is sure to be a spectacular show.
The opening reception is held Sunday, May 5th from 2pm - 5pm with an award ceremony to be held at 3:30pm. I hope you’ll come out and spend some time with me that day. My piece, a Sunset Garden, will be on display.
Works on Paper
This is a group exhibition with local Philadelphia artists. You’ll find my piece nestled amongst a talented group of individuals at The Plastic Club in Philadelphia, PA. While I normally work on canvas, I branched out and played a lot toward making a piece that I would proudly submit to the show. I think you’ll be surprised at where I landed, I know I was!
The opening reception is Sunday, April 7th from 2-5pm while the show will run through April 25th so don’t despair if you can’t make it to the opening.
A Musical Afternoon
A creative spirit to my core, music like art makes my heart soar! With that in mind, I will be performing with my musical partner at Studio 67 in Medford, NJ on Sunday, April 7th from 2-4pm. If you’re a bit curious about us, we have a facebook page where you can check out some past events, livestreams and more.
We’ve got two lively sets of our best music planned along with some new surprise tunes. I’m thrilled to say that we are performing nestled amongst two local artists, Frank Brindley and Kim Clay, who have a show at Sudio 67 this month. It is such a pleasure to support local artists and bring music to their opening.

Group Exhibition: Back to Basics
Back to Basics is a group exhibition at The Plastic Club in Philadelphia, PA. The focus is on using elemental shapes and geometric motives in strategic themes like composition, pattern and line. The work can be purely abstract or. representation, all the while showing command of circles, squares and all manner of polygonal shapes.
The opening reception is Sunday, February 4th from 2-5pm. I hope you will come out to see my piece, Safe and Sound, spend some time with me, and peruse the work of other talented local artists.
This exhibition is jurored by Gaby Heit.
Duo Show: Patience, Connection & Reflection
Join me, Violet Alexandre, Empathic Artist & Robin Brownfield, Mosaic Artist at Studio 67 in Medford, NJ a thriving artistic center and gallery for a duo exhibition. Patience, Connection & Reflection captures these states we experience as humans and tries to bring each viewer in touch with themselves in a fully present way.
The show opening reception will be held Sunday January 7, 2024 from 2 - 5pm. I hope you will come see me and Robin that afternoon and spend some time with us.

When you take the time to select a piece for someone you know they know you took the time and attention to choose something unique for them. As they see the piece, they have a reminder of the time and care you gave and the support you gave to a local Philadelphia artist.
I’ve made the pricing special this season so that giving original artwork is accessible to anyone who would like to do so. From small 4’’ x 4’’ pieces to 20’’ x 20’’ there are sizes to fit every space and every budget.

Healing Space (solo exhibition)
Please come out to my solo exhibition, Healing Space at Balance Health Center in the Rittenhouse section of Philadelphia, PA.

I’ve called the exhibition Healing Space because the pieces are an array of moments and spaces in time that express feelings and empathy visually with the hope to give a gift of wellness to the viewer.

"The Grandeur of Color" Exhibit
I’m thrilled to have two of my pieces invited to a national group juried exhibition, “THE GRANDEUR OF COLOR,” at the MVA Gallery in Bethlehem, PA.
Various artistic approaches to color. Some artists beautifully portray traditional reality while faithfully reproducing color and natural objects. Other artists, who believe color is relative, creatively transform objects to reconstruct reality.
The show will take place from Wednesday, Sept. 20th through Wednesday, Oct. 18th.

A Summer's Tale
A juried group show, A Summer’s Tale is all about bringing the sights and sounds of summer to you through original artwork. My piece, Summer in Bloom, will be in the show. The Juror is Sarah Gamble and the exhibition is held at The Plastic Club in Philadelphia, PA.

Fitler Fun
Come get creative with me at the Fitler Fun event this weekend.
I’ll have a table where you can come and share your wish with me and I will hand sketch a piece to express this and then you can co-create with me by decorating it. I’ll have markers, colored pencils, glitter and more for you to get creative.

80th Annual Painting Show
Please join me at Cheltenham Center for the Arts for the opening reception of their 80th Annual Painting Show, Sunday, April 16th from 2 - 4pm. I’m honored to exhibit alongside the work of so many talented Philadelphia artists.

"Joy" a Juried Art Show
Come see this group show where artists express their interpretation of “Joy.” The show is held at The Darlington Art Center.
My response to the call are three 6’’ x 6’’ pieces that are acrylic on canvas, I see you, I feel you, & I embrace you.
